The coal-fired power plant's pulverizing, ash, dedusting and coal conveying system, the equipment operation is constantly affected by the friction, corrosion, collision, impact and other factors of the medium, the system is very easy to leak, resulting in environmental pollution. It is where the power plants improve safety and civilized production and strive for difficulties. For this reason, each power plant has adopted different methods for leakage control, among which the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate is an ideal leakage control material, and its wear resistance, practicability and economy are superior to other wear-resistant materials.


1. Main performance characteristics of wear-resistant ceramic lining plate:

The wear-resistant ceramic lining plate is a special corundum ceramic, which is made of aluminum oxide as the main raw material, rare metal oxide as the flux and sintered at 1700 ℃, and then combined with special rubber and high-strength organic or inorganic adhesive respectively. It has the following main performance and characteristics:

(1) The hardness is large, and the Rockwell hardness is 85-90.

(2) It has good wear resistance and long service life. Its wear resistance is 266 times of manganese steel and 171.5 times of high chromium cast iron.

(3) It has a wide range of usability, such as the adhesive type lining plate suitable for the direct transportation of materials in the low temperature environment; the impact type lining plate suitable for the impact of large materials; the direct adhesive type lining plate suitable for the wind transportation of powder foam in the high temperature environment; the special-shaped fast tubular composite type lining; and the adhesive type ceramic fan blade suitable for the dynamic operation and high-speed operation.


2. Application in power plant

(1) Application in pulverizing system

Most of the wear of coal-fired power plant pulverizing system is mainly coal powder collision, friction and impact. The high-speed pulverized coal air flow is particularly worn on the pulverizing system equipment, especially on the outlet pipeline of the pulverizer, the elbow of the primary air pipeline and the inlet and outlet pipeline of the coarse and fine powder separator. The methods to control the pulverizing system are as follows: apply the wear-resistant adhesive series, its wear-resistant performance is superior to that of steel plate, and its strength and adhesion are better; but its disadvantage is that the construction is difficult and the cost is high. The wear resistance of cast stone is stronger than that of ordinary steel plate, but its biggest disadvantage is its brittleness and weight. It is not only limited by the load safety system of the equipment system, but also easily broken in the installation process. Because of the thick and large volume of the cast stone slab, the flow section of the equipment is reduced, the flow rate is increased, and the wear degree is also increased. Its service life is also difficult to compare with the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate. The application of wear-resistant ceramic lining plate, the effect of which is ideal, has been well received by users. The pulverizing system is not only wear-resistant and does not fall off, but also has no effect on the system. Its biggest advantage is simple construction and low cost, showing its good prospects for development.


(2) Application in ash system

In the power plant with hydraulic ash removal and slag discharge system, the inlet and outlet pipe sections of ash pump, ash ditch nozzle, etc. are the most easily worn parts. According to the site working conditions, it is more appropriate to paste adhesive ceramics. According to the use of some power plants, the effect of these parts is very good. The maintenance personnel no longer frequently block the leakage and replace the equipment, and the on-site sanitation has greatly improved.


(3) Application in coal handling system

The abrasion of coal handling system equipment is mainly abrasion and impact. The most easily worn parts are coal chute, tee, baffle, etc. generally, the anti-wear methods adopted by the power plant are: the application of lined manganese steel plate is not ideal, because the steel plate is not wear-resistant, the service cycle is short (generally about 6 months), and it is easy to stick coal and block; it brings maintenance workload to the maintenance personnel. It is not easy to stick coal to block when using UHMWPE board, but its wear resistance and impact resistance are not as good as that of steel plate, especially between lining board and cylinder wall, it is easy to squeeze raw coal from the joint and make lining board bulge and fall off. Since the UHMWPE board was used in some coal plants in 1997, the lining board has fallen off several times, which causes the chain of coal feeder to get stuck or even cause the chain to bend; it brings unnecessary maintenance workload to the maintenance personnel, and at the same time, it has a serious impact on safety production. The composite liner, which is composed of the ceramic liner pressed into the special rubber by the adhesive ceramic liner, has greatly improved the wear resistance, impact resistance and the smoothness of the inner wall.Through the use of some power plants, it is an ideal method to prevent wear and control leakage.


3. Conclusion

(1) As a kind of high-tech product, wear-resistant ceramic lining board is used more and more widely. The reason is that the technology is mature and the cost is lower and lower, and it is generally favored by users.

(2) Since the wear-resistant lining plate has a variety of series such as adhesive type, impact resistant type and adhesive type, users can choose different types according to the actual situation.

(3) Due to the influence of certain conditions, the range of use of adhesives is still limited, but with the continuous emergence of new materials and new technologies, the application will be more and more extensive.
